FTL recently imported three long block engines for the Mangere Waste Water Treatment Plant.
As part of Watercare’s Engine Replacement Project, FTL will ship / store / customs clear & deliver the three engines, along with a spare alternator and two turbochargers.
The cogeneration facility uses waste methane from anaerobic sludge digestion to produce 6.8 MW of electric power and 8 MW of process heat to keep the facility operational.
FTL's successful delivery ensures the critical asset renewal project remains on track, allowing the facility to maximize its renewable biogas generation and support Watercare’s ongoing infrastructure efficiency goals.
