MPI has revised the Import Health Standards for Sea Containers and Vehicles, Machinery and Parts.

The Import Health Standards for Sea Containers and Vehicles, Machinery and Parts along with associated Guidance Documents will come into force and will be available for stakeholders to download from Monday, the 22^nd of July 2019 (by close of business) at the following MPI web addresses:

In addition, there will be an MPI list for cargo considered by MPI to be sensitive to treatment with fumigation or heat.

Responses to submissions received for both Standards during the Consultation period (from the 3^rd of April until the 3^rd of June 2019) will also be available.  Seasonal requirements for the management of Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs will be enforced from the 1^st of September 2019 until the 30^th of April 2020.

 Should there be any delay with information being placed on the MPI website from Monday, the 22^nd of July 2019, copies of any of these documents may be requested from Standards@mpi.govt.nz
